No one wants to log into their email account and find junk email. Especially when you are waiting on an important email message, and you have to go through junk emails to look for it. It is up to you to decide whether or not you will go through the junk folder, or if you will just take your chance and trash them all, possibly deleting the important file you were waiting for in the first place. The only solution for junk email is spam guard.

With Spam guard, you can put the junk email in a separate folder that you do not even have to bother going through. If you want to, you can delete junk emails all at one time. This makes it easier to keep wanted mail and unwanted mail separated, as well as your folder file size down. You must note that some important emails have the potential of being spammed, and unless you search each and every email, you will not know this. So even with the spam guard, you are still not one-hundred percent free of going through junk emails.

Some people wonder how they receive junk email. This is easy. When you are searching different sites, and sign up for entrance onto them, your email and other information is sold to a third party, and here comes all the unwanted mail. It may seem like nothing, but it can really be annoying. Junk emails have the capability of causing viruses, and this can be a big headache. The viruses can cause your computer to shut down, or not work completely, sometimes not at all.

A junk email can also be very harmful physically. If the wrong person sends a fictitious email, they may get someone to give their personal information, and you could have someone knowing exactly where you live, and this is not a good idea. A lot of people use junk emails to get information about people, and stalk the person and cause harm to them.

Another bad deal with a junk email is it can ask for financial information. If someone is thinking they are subscribing to a company, or ordering something from a secure site through the junk email, they can be wrong. It is generally hard to trace junk emails, more so than an email from a legit company. The time it takes to track down the con artist who sent you out the junk email could be too long, and your bank account can be completely wiped out.

With junk email, everyone usually deletes them immediately. In the event these emails make it through your spam blocker, it is best if you immediately flag them, and send them to your trash. Some people will also report them to their email system provider, if they suspect them to be a great threat. No one wants a junk email, but with the companies selling email addresses, it is hard to steer clear of them.

Avoid including attachments.
People nowadays are wary about opening attachments, especially when they come from a company they’re in contact with for the first time. Attachments, after all, are one of the favorite tools of hackers for infecting computers with worms, bugs, viruses, and other kinds of malware. If you have a lot to say, try compressing it to fit the body of your email.

Avoid using images.
Graphics of any kind require more time to download; time that your readers may not have or are unwilling to give. If you need to use images, make sure that they’re small enough for easy downloading. If they have to be large, on the other hand, make sure that they’re spliced to facilitate their display.

In the event that the images still don’t show up in your recipients email server then make sure you’ve got a textual backup ready to fill the gap.

Keep it short but sweet.
If you want to wax poetry about your products and services, you can do that on your own turf like your blog or website. You cannot however do that in your email campaign since you’ll be in your customers territory and not yours. Thus, they have the power to tune out or shut you off any time they want. You can prevent that by keeping your message short but sweet.

Make sure your email won’t be mistaken for SPAM.
Assuming that you’ve done the right thing and were able to obtain your customers email addresses with their consent, make sure you have their approval as well for contacting them before sending out your email advertisements.

Don’t forget to include contact details.
You could get so busy perfecting the content of your email advertisement that you end up forgetting providing your recipients with your contact details. If you make that mistake, all your hard work will be for naught! Make sure that your contact details include your business name, address, landline, mobile and fax number, email and website address. Lastly, make sure to place it in a highly visible area!

Have the end product tested and reviewed before sending.
Try getting a sample audience and see how they react to your email ad. If the feedbacks positive then send away! If the feedbacks are negative then its back to the drawing board. Just work hard on your email ad and you’re sure to come up with something good in no time!
